The Off Grid Fabrications Rear Tire Carrier with Integrated Ladder is designed for Sprinter owners who want rear-mounted spare tire storage and reliable roof access—without adding a side ladder.

Whether you’re adding a tire carrier for easier spare access, need a second roof access point, or want a cleaner exterior setup, this integrated design combines both functions into one purpose-built solution.

Designed and manufactured in-house in Salisbury, North Carolina, this system improves on similar designs by focusing on access, safety, and clean integration.

Design & Construction

This rear tire carrier ladder is constructed using 2" aluminum tubing paired with formed aluminum ladder steps designed for secure footing. Unlike traditional round-tube ladder rungs, these steps provide a larger standing surface with integrated grip tabs to help prevent slipping—even in wet or muddy conditions.

A full-width top step without a radius improves stability and confidence when stepping onto the roof. The ladder steps also include slots and holes for mounting additional accessories if needed.

The entire assembly is built from aluminum and finished in a textured black powder coat, with stainless steel hardware throughout for long-term corrosion resistance.
