Mount your spare tire to the rear of your 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter van with our rear tire carrier. When you need to change a tire off road, the last place you want to be is underneath the van removing your spare tire. Mounting your spare tire to the rear of the van also opens up options for water tans and storage underneath the van. Made from heavy duty 2" aluminum tubing and stainless steel hardware, this tire carrier will last you the lifetime of your van. Designed and made in house, in Salisbury, NC.
- 2" aluminum tubing, stainless steel handle and hardware, black powder coat finish
- All visible hardware now comes in a black oxide finish. Stainless tire handle is powder coat black finish.
- Tire carrier handle can hold up to two Rotopax 2 gallon tanks.
- Our design uses a CNC machined delrin keeper with a rubber gasket to protect your wheel finish.
- Mount tires larger than factory with the adjustable design.
- Drill bit and step drill bit included to drill a single hole in the rear door for mounting.
- Billet 6061 Aluminum door mount with CNC cut rubber gasket and shock absorber contacts inner and outer door skin for extra mounting strength.

it was installed to see if everything worked for me. You don’t get customer service like that anymore. Very refreshing to do business with someone who cares about the product he is selling and the customers he is selling it too. I Will definitely be buy more accessories from off grid fabrication.
Took a plunge on this carrier after looking at all the other big players both on youtube and in person. I chose this for several reasons. The extremely detailed install video and the inclusion of the many of the smaller tools. (You will still need to provide tools for this install)
Upon receiving the unit there are a few things that stuck out. The printed documentation was very detailed but something I noticed was that all of the fasteners were vacuum packed based on the installation step. Much like how larger lego sets have bags for the sections you're building. It was very convenient and easy. I did this install solo and it would be a bit easier with another set of hands but can totally be done solo.
Lastly I have a dually van and there is an adapter you will need to specify you need. I forgot to do this and Aaron was very quick to get me the part I needed. I have since swapped to the Reika super single conversion with a 295/70/17 and this still fits the carrier however the plunger length could be a tad longer for the big tire folks.
Like the looks of this rack. Just installed it and had an issue with the Lock Nuts. Both seized up and made the instillation tough. I had to go buy a new SS Bolt and nut for the back door brace as well as the wheel support all thread nut,
1st of all this is a great product. Sturdy and well designed. I was a little too miserly on the use of the anti-seize, and broke a part. They quickly replaced it and did not make me feel stupid (it was a stupid mistake, but only I was saying this) while helping me to get their product working. Super pleased with this company!!!
The tire carrier is topnotch and the install instructions were spot on. Not only that but they gave me personalized service and custom fabricated some parts since I didn't have a standard setup. Worked out great!
