The Off Grid Fabrications Rear Tire Carrier relocates your spare tire to the rear of your 2019+ Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, providing easier access and freeing up space underneath the van for other systems and storage. Designed and manufactured in-house in Salisbury, North Carolina, this carrier integrates cleanly with the Sprinter rear door while maintaining a low-profile, functional design.
Relocating the spare tire to the rear door eliminates the need to access the factory under-van spare location and opens additional possibilities for underbody equipment and storage configurations.

it was installed to see if everything worked for me. You don’t get customer service like that anymore. Very refreshing to do business with someone who cares about the product he is selling and the customers he is selling it too. I Will definitely be buy more accessories from off grid fabrication.
Took a plunge on this carrier after looking at all the other big players both on youtube and in person. I chose this for several reasons. The extremely detailed install video and the inclusion of the many of the smaller tools. (You will still need to provide tools for this install)
Upon receiving the unit there are a few things that stuck out. The printed documentation was very detailed but something I noticed was that all of the fasteners were vacuum packed based on the installation step. Much like how larger lego sets have bags for the sections you're building. It was very convenient and easy. I did this install solo and it would be a bit easier with another set of hands but can totally be done solo.
Lastly I have a dually van and there is an adapter you will need to specify you need. I forgot to do this and Aaron was very quick to get me the part I needed. I have since swapped to the Reika super single conversion with a 295/70/17 and this still fits the carrier however the plunger length could be a tad longer for the big tire folks.
Like the looks of this rack. Just installed it and had an issue with the Lock Nuts. Both seized up and made the instillation tough. I had to go buy a new SS Bolt and nut for the back door brace as well as the wheel support all thread nut,
1st of all this is a great product. Sturdy and well designed. I was a little too miserly on the use of the anti-seize, and broke a part. They quickly replaced it and did not make me feel stupid (it was a stupid mistake, but only I was saying this) while helping me to get their product working. Super pleased with this company!!!
The tire carrier is topnotch and the install instructions were spot on. Not only that but they gave me personalized service and custom fabricated some parts since I didn't have a standard setup. Worked out great!
