Our Sprinter overhead shelf is designed to maximize unused space while delivering the strength, functionality, and finish you expect from a truly heavy-duty, USA-made product. Rather than building a basic headliner shelf, we focused on creating a system that adds real storage, improves accessibility, and feels solid the moment it’s installed.
Integrated MOLLE panels on the underside provide additional mounting and storage options that are easily reachable from the driver’s seat, while also increasing overall rigidity and strength. L-track mounting holes allow for snap-in hooks and accessories, and an optional curtain rod adds even more versatility for privacy or hanging gear.
When building out a Sprinter van, this is one of the first upgrades we recommend—it adds usable storage without sacrificing visibility, comfort, or interior function.

Looks and works great.
We somehow scored one of the redesigned overhead shelves last summer, and it was an easy install. It’s super versatile with the L-track mounting points and the MOLLE panel, which holds our first aid kit and a few other bags for our daughter’s coloring supplies. There’s plenty of space for all our blankets and the window covers. And this thing is built strong. Many of the other ones I’ve seen are flimsy and look cheap. I could easily do pull-ups on it, and I’m 205 lbs.
Besides the product itself, I really enjoyed working with Off Grid Fabrications to get this shipped to us in Oregon. Obviously, a quality-built product is important, but having a company that backs their product and offers a great customer experience is even better. Oh, and it’s American-made.
We just installed this today. It’s really sturdy and we absolutely love it. It is a super easy install process and it looks great!
